Amphenol Socapex TVmCom 10 Gb+ is a range of high-speed Ethernet connectors designed for harsh environments. These connectors are based on MIL-DTL-38999 series III shell size 11 and exceed 10Gb/s Ethernet following IEEE 802.3an-2006: 10GBase-T standards. They come with Cat.6A connectors that adhere to TIA568C.2 and ISO/IEC11801 standards. TVmCom 10 Gb+ connectors are available in aluminum, stainless steel, and marine bronze shells that offer salt spray protection of up to 500 hours.
The TVmCom 10 Gb+ connectors have four pairs that are totally insulated throughout the connector, ensuring minimum cross-talk between the four pairs. They feature patented special interfacial shapes that minimize perturbation at the interface of each pair. The machined and gold-plated solder and crimp contacts are designed and perform according to the inner contact of M39029/77-429#16 M39029/76-425#16 38999 coaxial contact. The contacts are crimped with standard crimping tool M22520/2-01 plus the Amphenol mCom positioner. The contact module of these connectors is machined brass and can accommodate max AWG24 solder contacts and AWG 24 to 28 crimp contacts.
