Ground vehicules

Amphenol Socapex provides a wide range of products for vehicles and related systems.

Some platforms such as the Leclerc, Leopard and Abrams family of tanks are using our high-performance Rectangular with 127 series, SIHD and compatible with thermal dicipetion clamps, our new HDAS and also our LRM with brush contacts technology.

We also provide a broad range of circular connectors conforming to most military specifications (MIL-DTL-38999, VG95234 ...), as well as several custom designed products (Ethernet RJ Field ...).

Marine Applications

Amphenol offers a wide variety of standard and special purpose connectors for marine applications.

Our aquacon immerseable connector offers 1500psi capability with metal coupling in MIL-DTL-38999 insert patterns. MIL-DTL-38999 standard connectors, rugged optical TVOP connectors and dedicated CECC 75.201.002 bronze marine connectors are also widely used.

Weapons and muntions

Amphenol has the most extensive range of munitions/ weapons interconnect systems available anywhere.

Today's "smart" weapons rely on our MIL-STD-1760 Lanyard Release connector. The TOW missile launcher, the Stinger, the Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile, and ASRAAM, all rely on Amphenol's shear connectors to power and provide targeting information.
The MIL-DTL-83538 (1760 Type II) is the latest in development in high-performance missile interconnect systems when the mission is critical (Meteor).
